Anies Wants Teacher Competence Improvement to Be Joint Commitment

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan was awarded as the Father of Indonesian Teacher Competency Improvement. The award was given to coincide with the opening of the 2018 National Coordinating Meeting of the Indonesian Teachers Association (Rakornas IGI).

Bear responsibility as a teacher, Anies stated, is not easy. It is because they must hold the mandate to educate, become a driver and inspiration for the future generations of the nation.

"We want all areas, especially Jakarta to continue to be committed to improving the competence of teachers, including principals," he expressed, at the International Exhibition and Education Conference Arena, Global Educational Supplies and Solutions (GESS), Jakarta Convention Center, Central Jakarta, Thursday (9/27). 

Teacher Competence in Jakarta Continues to Be Improved

He explained that Jakarta Provincial Government gives high attention in the field of education. The aim is to improve the quality education in the capital.

"Hopefully all teacher organizations have the same orientation, namely professional competence as a teacher," he stated.

As for the information, the Rakornas IGI will run for two days, precisely on September 27-28, 2018 and is participated by 34 local heads and 514 other regional heads from all over Indonesia.
